Description

Collaboration was key between all stakeholders when constructing this prominent new outdoor entertainment facility at the Transcona Centennial Square. To that end, Westland acted as General Contractor on the project, working alongside the artist and architects to deliver a facility that acts not only as a performance venue but as a piece of public art.
The hard-edged physical structure takes its cues from the industrial history of Transcona, while the transient and picturesque images floating above the stage reflect the community's parks and natural spaces.
